Short presentation

I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the Decolonizing Madness ERC-project (DECOLMAD) at the Center for Culture and the Mind (CULTMIND) at the University of Copenhagen (KU). I am a medical anthropologist, clinical psychologist, and psychoanalyst. My work focuses on the politics and practices of psychiatry and global mental health and their impacts on subjectivity and everyday life in Latin America. I hold a PhD in Anthropology from the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at King's College London (KCL) and a MA in Adult Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Psychoanalysis from the University of Chile (UCh). I have lectured and conducted research at the University of Santiago, UCh, KCL, and KU. Additionally, I have collaborated with the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO/WHO). I am also a co-founder of the Platform for Social Research in Mental Health in Latin America (PLASMA).
