Responsible for planning and completion of scientific studies as well as innovative and intersectorial projects. Completed RegionH research management training course.
Examples of ongoing and completed projects
“FitMum, FitBaby and FitKids studies: Impact of maternal exercise during pregnancy on physical activity, psychomotor development and growth of offspring”. Children of 220 women participating in the FitMum-RCT are followed to evaluate physical activity level, psycho-motor development and metabolism in the offspring and parental risk of developing postpartum depression. Funded by Det Frie Forskningsråd (2,7 mio kr) and Novo Nordisk Foundation (2,9 mio kr), University of Copenhagen 2019-ongoing. Role: Study design, funding, supervisor for two Ph.D students
“Effective, safe and qualified treatment for overweight children and adolescents: A shared-care project between 8 municipalities and the Department for Children and Adolescents, Nordsjællands Hospital” A chronic care model applied in an intersectoral design including >300 children and adolescents with severe overweight. Research concerning mental health and behavioral screening. Funded by Danish Ministry of Health, 6,5 mio kr. Nordsjællands Hospital, 2014-2018. Role: Study design, funding, project manager
“Development and evaluation of an mHealth app to young people with diabetes to support self-management”. A mixed methods design identified users’ needs before designing the app within an overall iterative PD approach and testing it in a randomized controlled trial (RCT). Funded by the Danish Agency for Digitisation, Centre for Telemedicine, Capital Region of Denmark, 2,8 mio kr. Nordsjællands Hospital, 2012-17. Role: Principal supervisor for PhD student.
