Personal profile

Short presentation

My research primarily focuses on so-called complex interventions. In plain terms, this means testing initiatives in the healthcare system that are more intricate than simply determining "whether pill X works better than pill Y", eg. on the expansion of collaboration between general practice, municipalities, and hospitals.

I am deputy head of department for education.

I am in charge of the course "Early Patient Contact and Basic Ethics" in the first semester of the Medicine (Bachelor's) program. I also teach research methodology in the specialist training program for general practice.

Current research

I am investigating the implementation of enhanced psychosocial interventions in preventive child health examinations in general practice and municipalities (Project: FamilyWellbeing in General Practice)."

  • "I am investigating patient experiences in a weight loss study taking place in Denmark and England (Project: LightCom).

Teaching

I supervise master's and bachelor's theses. Within literature reviews, I primarily supervise qualitative studies (i.e., experiences of patients or professionals)

Possible conflicts of interest

I have no financial interests in farmaceutical companies or other companies
