Personal profile

Short presentation

I am a postdoctoral researcher specializing in remote sensing-based global mapping and change detection of wetlands. My work aims to advance our understanding of natural and anthropogenic impacts on wetland ecosystems. Focused on innovative methods for diverse wetland applications, my approach involves integrating cutting-edge technologies, including cloud computing, state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms, deep learning classifiers, and data fusion techniques. By harnessing the power of artificial intelligence, I aim to provide accurate and comprehensive quantification of wetland ecosystem dynamics from local to global scale.

My research is funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation through the Global Wetland Center.
