Hanne Nexø Jensen

CV

Hanne Nexø Jensen is an associated professor in public administration at the Department of Political Science, University of Copenhagen. Her PhD is about gender and public organisations undergoing changes. In her later research changes of public organisations and gender recurs in research projects about top civil servants, gender in academia and gender and working life. In addition, research about supervision is part of her portfolio.

Current research

She participates in the project, E-Note, European Network on Teaching Excellence where five European partners collaborate. Furthermore, she join a cross departmental project about "Creation of knowledge in groups - cluster supervision from a student perspective." Additional, she works with development of teaching and learning from the perspective of organizational theories, i.e. with special emphasize on Research-Teaching-Integration.

Creation of in knowledge groups - from a student perspective. What roles and which kinds of competences do students need if they should contribute to knowledge creation during cluster supervision?

How could you ensure a successful development of teaching and learning from an organizational theory point of view, exemplified with ways of implementing initiatives that enhance Teaching Excellence?

Teaching

She has taught at all levels from undergraduate to PhD level and students at the Master of Public Governance. I have the course "Political project design" - as a preparation for the master thesis process. I teach and supervise a group of students writing their bachelor thesis. I supervise Master Thesis students in Clusters. Furthermore, she organizes a series of seminars for colleagues focusing on Research-Teaching-Integration as an example of Teaching Excellence.
