Hans Elbeshausen

• Born (1952) and raised in Göttingen (Germany)
• Academic studies in German language and litterature, History and Educational Science at the universities of Göttingen and Oldenburg
• Graduated from university in 1980  
• Associate professor at the University of Odense (1980 - 85)
• Associate professor at the Copenhagen Business School (1985 - 2000)
• Associate professor at the Royal School of Library and Information Science (since 2000)
• Head of Research at the Royal School of Library and Information Science (since 2008)
• Committee member of the Scandinavian projekt "Continuing multicultural education in libraries, archives and museums" under the aegis of the Nordic Council (2002 - 2004)  
• External examiner at the Universities of Ålborg, Århus, Copenhagen, Roskilde and Odense
• Member of the Editorial Board of "Bibliotekshistorie" (Library History)
