Short presentation

The aim of my PhD is to reconstruct fluctuations in paleo-temperature and bioproductivity during the Jurassic time period using carbon and oxygen stable isotope geochemistry of well-preserved low-Mg fossil (belemnites, brachiopods and bivalves) in SW Germany and SE Greenland.

I have also used Molybdenum isotopes, trace elements and redox sensitive biomarkers to envestigate how the water geochemistry of the southern Sw German Basin developed during the Early Toarcian Anoxic Event.
