Personal profile

Short presentation

I am a Political Geographer by training. I am conducting postdoc researcher at the Department of Food and Resource Economics, section of Production, Markets and Politics at UCPH. I have a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and a Ph.D. in Human Geography from Macquarie University, Australia. My work focuses on democratic politics in times of multiple and overlapping socio-ecological and political crises. The major question that drives my research is: How can we sustain and enrich democracy in times of structural crisis? My current project explores the importance of sustaining and improving democratic governance for food safety in the Anthropocene.
