Short presentation

My focus is to develop valid, robust, and explainable strategies and algorithms to identify patterns in electrocardiographic signals (ECG) using classical signal analysis and machine learning, to enable physicians to identify subjects of increased risk of heart disease and sudden death.

Based on pathophysiological and interdisciplinary research we try to combine genetic factors with signal analysis to promote personalized medicine and identify patients with increased sensitivity for various drugs, helping the physician to select proper treatment.

Ongoing projects

  • ECG and dementia
  • Deep Learning and ECG
  • Diabetes and ECG changes
  • Genetic influence on ECG parameters
