Jakob Seidelin has a medical degree (MD), a PhD and DMSc from University of Copenhagen and is a researcher at Rigshospitalet, University of Copenhagen. He is a consultant in Gastroenterology with focus on IBD. His main research interests are intestinal injury responses and intestinal damage with a focus on regenerative medicine in IBD. This includes clinical studies and translational in vivo and in vitro studies of the human intestinal mucosa. Further, Jakob Seidelin is national coordinator and PI on a number of investigator initiated and sponsor initiated controlled randomized trials in IBD.
