Personal profile

Short presentation

When I was a kid, I dreamt of becoming a chef in Italy. But that didn’t work out. Instead, I research international relations with a focus on security and climate policy. I primarily work on EU foreign policy. My work has been published in International Affairs, International Journal of Public Opinion Research, Millennium (forthcoming), and Internasjonal Politikk.

I have taught international relations, EU foreign policy, climate and security politics, as well as research design and methods.

I love to talk about (my) research and have had the opportunity to present it in international and Danish media, including The Guardian, ECFR, DR, TV2, Weekendavisen, Politiken, Altinget, Information, Kristeligt Dagblad, and Ræson.

I also have a background as a language officer in Arabic and was deployed to Iraq in 2016 and 2017. Previously, I worked at the Danish Institute for International Studies.

When I’m not working, I primarily spend time with my family and try to fit in the occasional run. I also attempt to live out my old dream of becoming a chef—with mixed results so far.
