Personal profile

Short presentation

My research engages with the political economy of sustainability transitions, focusing on the decarbonisation of heavy industries and climate change. Overall, I seek to understand the dynamics of green transitions and how they shape societal change.

I have a background in political economy and environmental and development economics and take an interdisciplinary approach to research, drawing on approaches from international political economy, transition studies, and ecological economics.

I have published research on a range of related issues pertaining to the petrochemical industry, the limits of green growth, national and corporate climate targets, and green hydrogen investments.
