Head of the Family Program at the Centre of Excellence in Early Intervention and Family Studies.

Associate professor and licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience in conducting and managing interdisciplinary research in collaboration with the public sector as well as with international and national research partners, focusing on societal outreach. Dedicated to promoting caregiver, infant, and toddler mental health. Research focuses on early detection, including screening for postpartum and postnatal depression, and interventions targeting at-risk children and their (primary and professional) caregivers, and the implementation of research-based knowledge in real-life settings., and the implementation of research-based knowledge in real-life settings. Certified Danish Circle of Security Trainer and supervisor.

  • Principal Investigator (PI) of the SECURE project, which focuses on promoting child-adult interaction quality in center-based childcare (link).
  • Principal Investigator (PI) of the AiD project, which evaluates the ATTACH™ parenting program to promote well-being and development in vulnerable children and their parents in Danish municipalities (link). 
  • Principal Investigator (PI) of the Social Eating project, which examines the role of social and emotional exchanges during family mealtimes in families with young children (link).
  • Co-Principal Investigator (co-PI) of the Copenhagen Infant Mental Health Project (CIMPH), focusing on infant mental health, early detection and early interventions (link).
