Current position: Professor in Development Economics at the Department of Economics, University of Copenhagen (since 2021)

Research profile

Professor in development economics. Member of Development Economics Research Group (DERG - www.econ.ku.dk/derg). Research primarily empirical, with a focus on being policy relevant in a developing country context. Research often carried out in collaboration with national ministries and research institutions (e.g. Ghana, Kenya, Mozambique, Myanmar, South Africa, Tanzania, Vietnam and Zambia) but also with international organizations such as the ILO, OECD, UN and the World Bank.
