Personal profile

Short presentation

I am a TALENT - Marie Sklowdoska Curie Phd Fellow worinkg on building an anthropogenic archive of plastic pollution in Greenland (RECORD). My project is under the supervision of Assist Professor Nicole R. Posth and Professor Thorbjørn Joest Andersen and funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 801199.

My interests lie in the anthropogenic changes on Arctic ecosystems, the effects of marine pollution in the ocean and land as well as on the societal components. I look at microplastics from deep-sea sediments and glacial ice as markers of the Anthropocene while exploring the degradation or preservation at the sink.
