Personal profile

Short presentation

Health, sociology and educational research are central in my work during the years. The relational thinking of Pierre Bourdieu have been core perspectives in analysis of relations between healthcare institutions, professions, artefacts and clients/patients/relatives. Inequality in health have been studied in the Norwegian context. I have been teaching in the use - and the integration - of theory, methods and empirical data. I am leader of the nordic Bourdieu organisation www.hexis.dk involving the journal www.praktiskegrunde.dk  and also leader of Danish-Norwegian network on rehabilitation of traumapatients www.phlegethon.net look at; https://www.palgrave.com/gp/book/9789811373459
