Personal profile
Short presentation
Main interests: clinical, epidemiological, genetic and neurobiological research in affective disorders within causes and treatment (depression, mania, bipolar disorder).
Primary fields of research
The main scientific aims are to investigate biological, including genetic, and psychological risk factors for onset, course and outcome in affective disorders as well as the effect of treatment in relation to these issues.
Further, research focuses on cognition and risk of dementia in affective disorder.
In an ongoing EU-project we have developed an App for electronic monitorering via mobile phones for use in bipolar disorder.
