Current research

I am currently investigating the regulatory and legal aspects of medical devices that uses artificial intelligence to in real-time support surgeons when they operate colon cancer.

So far my research interests have focused on the topics of:

  • Use of artificial intelligence for drugs and medical devices
  • R&D innovation of COVID-19 vaccines
  • Biologics
  • Manufacturing of biologics
  • Biosimilars from regulator, industry, clinician and patient perspectives
  • Patient attitudes to and experiences with taking ADHD medication as well as astma medicine
  • Use of antibiotics in countries of the Eastern WHO European region.
  • The pharmacy profession
