Personal profile

Short presentation

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Copenhagen Centre for Health Research in the Humanities (CoRe), working within the field of health humanities. My expertise lies in bioculture, ethnography, and cultural analysis. My research examines emotional experiences and practices, and how these intersect with inequity, stigma, and exclusion in everyday life and healthcare contexts. I investigate aesthetic and moral body ideals, care and self-care, and how these ideals and practices shape embodied experiences of health and illness. My approach integrates in-depth ethnographic analysis with conceptual and theoretical knowledge production within an interdisciplinary framework.
