Short presentation
My research explores the relationship between identity, culture and society, with a focus on threatened or marginalised groups. I am interested in the critical use of social identity theory and social representations theory to explore how members of minority groups respond to threat and construct identity. I am currently using this framework to explore identity dynamics among the Deaf community and individuals with cochlear implants
