Personal profile

Short presentation

I am interested in the interaction between the biosphere, geosphere and atmosphere. For this reason I study the impact of volcanism in large igneous provinces. In particular, I focus on the important primary producers - land plants (mainly pollen and spores) and phytoplankton - and try to use these to better understand climate and environment changes in deep time.
