Mathilde Juul Østergaard

I am a Research Assistant within the Section for Forest and Bioresources. My current work concentrates on afforestation across Denmark, aiming to provide reportable indicators of various ecosystem services from newly established forests. This includes incorporating in-situ data and remote sensing to provide reliable indicators and methods to document ecosystem services, including biodiversity, carbon sequestration, recreational benefits, and nutrient retention.
