Personal profile

Short presentation

I am currently coordinating a team that integrates multidisciplinary expertise from pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacovigilance, and data science to catalyze the identification of individuals at higher risk of adverse drug reactions or insufficiently benefiting from pharmacological treatments. We utilize post-marketing data sources, including administrative and spontaneous reporting databases. Our team has a strong translational perspective, with the ultimate goal of promoting the integration of our discoveries into patient care.

The team has access to the largest cohort of older individuals in Denmark, covering the entire Danish population aged 65 and above. This dataset includes socio-demographic information, hospital and outpatient visits, pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments, laboratory results (e.g., biochemical, genetic, and immunological data), as well as details on surgeries and medical procedures.
