Personal profile

Short presentation

I graduated as a veterinarian from the University of Copenhagen in 2012 and subsequently worked for a year in general practice. From 2013-2018 I was employed as a PhD student at the University of Copenhagen on a project dealing with the interpretation of diagnostics tests of Mycoplasma bovis in dairy cattle, both at herd and individual animal level. During these years I also had several appointments as a scientific assistant on various projects.

In 2018, I obtained my PhD degree based on the thesis "Mycoplasma bovis in dairy cattle - Clinical epidemiology and antibody measurements for decision making".

Since 2018, I have been employed as an assistant professor at the Department of Clinical Veterinary Medicine. I spend much of my time teaching veterinary students basic clinical skills in production animals, primarily cattle, in the course General Clinical Practice. In addition, I conduct research on various aspects of health and disease in cattle. My primary research interests are clinical epidemiology and diagnostic tests, calf health, Mycoplasma bovis, and health and disease in other productionsystems such as extended cow-calf contact.
