Short presentation

My research encompasses many different aspects of infertility in horses, but my main focus area is infertility in the mare. It is centered on reproductive immunology and inflammation, host-pathogen interactions and diagnosis and treatment with an overall goal to increase fertility. I have contributed to advancements in the understanding of the pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic endometritis.
My research involves in vivo models, which is in contrast to most of the research within this field (endometrial fibrosis), where most research are performed on in vitro models. I have expertise in both the clinical work with the horses, as well as the different laboratory techniques, data and project management.
