Nutrition in low-income settings, long-term consequences of exposure to malnutrition, child development, infectious diseases, body composition, food security, quality of life, clinical trials and epidemiology.

PhD thesis on effects of nutritional support for HIV patients commencing antiretroviral treatment based on the ARTfood study, a randomised clinical trial in Jimma, Ethiopia.

Deuterium dilution technique, body composition assessment, anthropometry, child development and cognitive function assessment, mixed-amethods studeis, qualitative analysis, meta-analysis and meta-epidemiological research.
