Personal profile

Short presentation

I pursue research in Plant- and Plant Community Ecology to provide novel research on grassland diversification and restoration. My research supports decision making on restoration, transformation and management of herbaceous vegetation types to support native flora and fauna and thereby contribute to halting further loss of biodiversity and mitigate negative effects of climate change.

My research is focused on Native species, their Ecology, Habitat specialization and associated Biodiversity. Within the last eight years, my research has focused on SUDS to provide state-of-the-art research for Optimizing Nature-based Solutions as Steppingstone Habitats for native flora and fauna in cities.

As PI, I have continuous experience in collaboration with private and public stakeholders on innovation- and research projects.
