Personal profile

Short presentation

With a background in urban ecology, botany, and natural resource management, I am passionate about human-nature relationships and how humans value, transform, and utilize natural entities and resources. I am particularly interested in investigating how cities can become venues where humans and nature reconcile. During my PhD, I had the opportunity to delve deeply into the social acceptability of ecologically motivated urban green space transformations on both public and private land, as well as issues of environmental injustice related to these transformations and the overall deployment of nature-based solutions. I aim for my future research to be methodologically diverse, problem-oriented, and transformative. I will always openly advocate for work-life balance and a healthy research environment.
