Short presentation

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher with PhD in archaeology from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. I specialize in the prehistory of Southwest Asia, the transition to agriculture and stone tool analysis. In addtion to research, I have extensive excavation experience from Jordan, Iran and Denmark as well as teaching experience from Denmark and the USA. My current research project focuses on the use of polished stone axes during the Neolithic on the Orkney islands north of Scotland. The project is funded by the Independent Research Fund Denmark (DFF). It is a DFF-International Postdoc and my host institution is the University of York, UK.
