Personal profile

Short presentation

My research has mostly revolved around the study of flavor chemistry and sensory perception. However, my interests are also innovation, entrepeneurship, global food security and I am also lately enticed by chemometrics.

My PhD project focuses on off-flavors in European farmed fish. We plan to apply novel analytical techniques to better comprehend their sensory relevance and to detect them more efficiently. The project is part of a MSCA-ITN called RASOPTA funded by the EU's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
