Short presentation

Peter Schwarz is a Clinical and Professor in chair of Endocrinology at the Department of Clinical Medicine. Dr. Schwarz is affiliated with the Center of Organ and Cancer Center at Copenhagen University Hospital – Rigshospitalet as a consultant. He graduated from the University of Copenhagen as a medical doctor (MD) in 1987 and earned his Doctor of Medical Sciences (DMSc; dr.med.) in 1996. He is a board-certified specialist in Clinical Biochemistry, General Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.

Dr. Schwarz’ research is primarily focused on calcium metabolic diseases especially rare calcium diseases as hypoparathyroidism and rare genetic calcium and bone diseases.
