Søren Gosvig Olesen, né en 1956, a fait ses études de philosophie auprès de Gérard Granel à Toulouse et à Paris. Son premier livre La philosophie dans le texte a été publié en 1982. Il a obtenu l'Habilitation en 1998 à l'Université de Nice; son Habilitation, Wissen und Phänomen a été publiée en 1997, son œuvre majeure, Transcendental History, en 2012. Traducteur en danois de Heidegger, Foucault, Derrida et Agamben, il est également auteur de divers livres sur la philosophie transcendantale et la déconstruction. Il a enseigné la philosophie aux Universités d'Aarhus et d'Odense de 1983 à 1996. De 1996 à 1999 il a été chercheur à la Bibliothèque Royale de Copenhague. Depuis 1999 il est Professeur de philosophie à l'Université de Copenhague.

Erste Buchveröffentlichung La philosophie dans le texte 1982; die Habilitation Wissen und Phänomen erschien 1997, sein Hauptwerk Transcendental History 2012. Übersetzer ins Dänische von Heidegger, Foucault, Derrida und Agamben und Autor mehrerer Bücher auf Dänisch über Transzendentalphilosophie und Dekonstruktion. Unterrichtete Philosophie an den Universitäten Aarhus und Odense von 1983 bis 1996. Von 1996 bis 1999 als Forscher an der Königlichen Bibliothek Kopenhagens angestelt. Seit 1999 Dozent der Philosophie an der Universität Kopenhagen.

Il suo primo libro è La philosophie dans le texte, pubblicato nel 1982; la sua dissertazione Wissen und Phänomen è uscita nel 1997, il suo capolavoro Transcendental History nel 2012. Traduttore in danese di Heidegger, Foucault, Derrida e Agamben, è autore di diversi libri in danese sulla filosofia trascendentale e sulla decostruzione. Dal 1983 al 1996 insegna filosofia alle Università di Aarhus e di Odense. Dal 1996 al 1999 è ricercatore alla Biblioteca Reale di Copenaghen. Dal 1999 in poi è professore ordinario all'Università di Copenaghen.
Søren Gosvig Olesen, born in 1956, studied philosophy with Gérard Granel at the Universities of Toulouse and Paris, and attained his Habilitation in philosophy in 1998 at the University of Nice. His first book was La philosophie dans le texte, published in 1982; his Habilitation thesis, Wissen und Phänomen, appeared in 1997.; his major work Transcendental History in 2012. He has translated Heidegger, Foucault, Derrida and Agamben into Danish, and has written several books in Danish on transcendental philosophy and deconstruction. From 1983 to 1996, he was Lecturer of Philosophy at the Universities of Aarhus and Odense. He then served as Research Fellow at the Copenhagen Royal Library from 1996 to 1999. Since 1999, he has been Associate Professor at the University of Copenhagen.
