Short presentation

Sandra holds a M.Sc. in landscape management (2006) from the Royal Agricultural and Vetenary University. She is employed as a Teaching Associate Professor at the Section of Landscape Architecture and Planning. She is part of the research group Nature, Green Spaces and Outdoor Recreation.

In june 2015 Sandra defended her PhD thesis "Outdoor recreation and ethnicity - seen in a Danish adolescents perspective". Her research focus has been on ethnic minorities' outdoor recration and nature based integration. Further she is interested in peoples' relation to and perception of nature.  Since 2017 Sandra has studied volunteering in nature management in Denmark.
