Personal profile

Short presentation

I have a background in linguistics (PhD, 2012, U. Lyon) and I'm specialized in the study of social interaction. I use conversation analysis and a multimodal  video-based approach to investigate typical and atypical interactions, particularly in institutional settings, in which people with linguistic, communicative and cognitive or intellectual impairments are involved. I like to explore the interrelation between language and the body both from a theoretical point of view and from a clinical and therapeutic perspective. I've been doing research and teaching in several Universities in France (U. Lyon II), Switzerland (U. Basel, U. Neuchatel) and Italy (U. Roma Tre), where I was apppointed a fixed term position as Asssistant Professor (2020-2023), and I'm currently affiliated to the University of Copenhagen, where I conduct research for a EU project on dis-ability, work settings and the use of technologies.
