Short presentation
I am employed as a PhD student at the Section of Social Medicine, Department of Public Health and at Sports, Individuals & Society, Department of Nutrition, Exercise and Sports at the University of Copenhagen. I have a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Copenhagen from 2021.
My primary research interest is centred on promoting women's health, including elucidating and understanding the interplay between socioeconomic and psychological factors as well as physiological and biological factors. I am interested in combining qualitative and quantitative methods in relation to this complexity.
Current research
My PhD project aims to map and understand the impact of menopause on women living in Denmark in terms of symptoms and quality of life. I am conducting a mixed methods study involving a nationwide questionnaire survey and follow-up qualitative studies.
The project is funded by crowdfunding, the Aase and Einar Danielsens Foundation, and the Absalon Foundation of 1 May 1978, and is supervised by Associate Professor Maria Hybholt and Associate Professor Terese Sara Høj Jørgensen.
