Personal profile

Short presentation

I am employed as a PhD student at the Section of Social Medicine, Department of Public Health, University of Copenhagen. I hold a master’s degree in public health from the University of Copenhagen, completed in 2021.

My primary research interest is in promoting women's health, with a particular focus on social disparities and health inequalities. I am especially drawn to combining quantitative and qualitative methods to explore the complexity of these issues.

Current research

My PhD project explores how menopause affects women living in Denmark, with a focus on symptoms and quality of life. I am conducting a multi methods study that includes a nationwide questionnaire survey with in-depth qualitative follow-up, aiming to capture both breadth and nuance in women's experiences during this stage of life.

The project is funded by crowdfunding, the Aase and Einar Danielsens Foundation, and the Absalon Foundation of 1 May 1978, and is supervised by Associate Professor Maria Hybholt and Associate Professor Terese Sara Høj Jørgensen.
