Short presentation
My PhD research focused on the ideology, socio-cultural style, leadership and relationship to democracy of the main Italian populist actors since the start of the 90s. Simultaneously, my research as a Europeaum Scholar provided actionable feedback for policymakers aiming at reaching the disenchanted European youth in democratic participation.
I am currently writing a monograph on "The Shape of Populism in Italy" and entering into the field of Environmental Humanities, concentrating on political and civil responses to drought.
