Personal profile

Short presentation

My PhD project is a part of the project "TechnEmotion" (LINK), and investigates the entanglement of emotions and future organ transplantation technologies through an anthropological study of research and development related to human-animal technologies. The study will combine observations, interviews, and document analysis to shed light on future transplant technologies and the emotions that drive and stop them. It aims to unfold what happens to human kin and kind and the stories humans tell when the quest for more organs leads to crossing the species barrier.

In previous projects I have used anthropological methods to investigate COVID-restrictions resistance and vaccine hesitancy, chronic illness, and social vulnerability.
