Personal profile

Short presentation

I hold a degree in sociology, option anthroplogy from Sorbonne University and a degree in social sciences applied to inter-cultural relations. I hold a Ph.D. in Health Sciences from the University of Copenhagen. Over 28 years, I have been involved in designing primarily qualitative studies, occasionally quantitative studies, data collection, knowledge generation, analysis, and dissemination of findings. I have planned and conducted research in Europe, West Africa, and countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. My research focuses on health equity and migration. Currently, I am researching continuity of care for diabetes and hypertension among internally displaced persons and refugees in South Sudan and Uganda. I have extensive experience in interdisciplinary research. I am a board member of the Center for Health and Migrants at the University of Copenhagen.
