Personal profile

Short presentation

My research is about the theory and the applications of statistical methods for binary, longitudinal and time-to-event data. I participate in collaborative projects in which modern statistical methods are used to draw causal conclusions from observational studies with the aim to improve information systems and treatment options. I contribute to the ongoing development of statistical methodology and computer algorithms for studies in medicine and public health.

Primary fields of research

I am collaborating with the Danish Heart Foundation and associated research groups on registry data studies with a focus on study design and causal inference and machine learning for pharmacoepidemiology.
