Personal profile

Short presentation

Since 2010 my research has mainly focused on climate change and how to provide first overviews of the storm surge and stormwater consequences. Secondly, I've been involved for many years in digital soil mapping - especially concerning how to harmonize a soil map of Europe.

Currently (Nov. 2021) I'm involved in the CLIMACCESS research project where my component is on estimating the stormwater consequences for Accra, Ghana. Also, I'm collaborating with Esri, CA on documentating and sharing a workflow on stormwater modeling , see Model bluespots to map flood risk. One more workflow for storm surge modelling is ready by Dec. 2021.
