Short presentation
Thomas is senior consultant at the Pathology Department, Rigshospitalet, and associate professor at Department of Clinical Medicine and Biotech Research and Innovation Centre, UCPH. He graduated from MD in 2005 and earned his Ph.D. in 2009. He is board-certified specialist in pathology and forensic pathology.
His research is mainly focused on image analysis in digital pathology. He is co-founder of the QUAN10.AI platform, an all-round image analysis system for HE-slides available in the capitol region for both research and clinical purposes. In addition, he is involved in several collaborations on various diseases with a general focus neoplasia and the extracellular matrix. In his clinical work, Thomas is part of the Thorax Team at the pathology department with extensive experience on pulmonary, cardiac and thymic diseases.
