Short presentation

Tijana Mišković was born in 1982 in former Yugoslavia and has been living in Denmark since 1992. She is holding MA in Art and Theory from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Since her graduation in 2008, as an independent curator, she has been organizing exhibitions and seminars in Denmark as well as internationally. At the moment, she is a PhD fellow at SMK- The National Gallery of Denmark and The University of Copenhagen financed by Novo Nordisk Foundation (Mads Øvlisen PhD Scholarship for curatorial practice-based PhD). The focus of her research is art and diaspora, primarily the work of artists who came to Denmark as refugees from the Yugoslav wars in the early 90s. Tea Sindbæk is the supervisor and Anne Ring Petersen the co-supervisor of the PhD project.
