Personal profile

Short presentation

I am a historian working with questions of transnational cultural connections, social movements, and queer history. I have a special interest in HIV/AIDS, queer cultural heritage and archives as well as the German minority in Denmark.

I am currently (2024-2026) a postdoc on the a project, investigating the notion of "open-mindedness" in Denmark, as well as Danish-German queer connections. The project is funded by The Augustinus Foundation.

I have previously been a part of the project "CHAD A Cultural History of AIDS in Denmark" funded by the Independent Research Fund Denmark, and studied minority and border questions at the Centre for Border Region Studies at the University of Southern Denmark.

I have a PhD from the University of Southern Denmark. I studied MA and BA History in the UK.
