Abstract

This chapter is focused on the latest advances within additive manufacturing of oral solid dosage forms. Oral dosage forms are the most convenient drug delivery systems (DDS), because they have a compact design and relatively long storage stability, and patients have better compliance and adherence with orally administered medicines than with, e.g., injections or suppository.
