Abstract

This paper focuses on Hermann Conring’s translation of Machiavelli’s Il Principe from Italian into Latin and most importantly on Conring’s observations on Machiavelli. Hermann Conring published his translation of Machiavelli in 1660, and the year after he published his observations.
