Abstract

The RTI Manual contains inspiration and experiences from experiments and specific teaching courses integrating research and teaching at KU. The aim is to contribute to the ongoing development of the university’s education and teaching methods and practices, so they cater as far as possible for both student learning and teachers’ research by developing learning communities and the joint creation of new knowledge. To strengthen these learning communities in practice, a common language and a typology for research-teaching integration (RTI) have been developed. The target group includes teachers, subject coordinators, head of studies, and educational consultants.
