Abstract
Dinucleoside phosphoramidites, H2S, and tetrazole react to form dinucleoside H-phosphonothioates. Oxidation with sulfur yields phosphorodithioates. Iodine oxidation in the presence of amines, alcohols, or water yields phosphorothioamidates, thiotriesters or thiodiesters.
