Abstract
Transient osteoporosis of the hip (TOH) is a rare condition with acute onset of hip pain. TOH is self-limiting andoften leads to complete remission of symptoms within 6-12 months. This case report presents a 44-year-old malediagnosed with TOH. As part of the treatment plan, the patient received intravenous bisphosphonate with 5 mgzoledronic acid. A few weeks after administration, the patient reported almost full symptomatic remission.
