Abstract
The gestalt concept of visual closure has been found useful in neuropsychological studies of visual recognition. One operationalization of this concept is the Street Completion Test, which is assumed to have specific sensitivity to lesions in the posterior right hemisphere. The psychometric properties of a 20 item version of this test are described, and its use in clinical neuropsychological assessment is discussed.
